UConn Tech Park

UConn Tech Park, located in the Innovation Partnership Building (IPB), brings together cutting-edge research, collaboration with industry partners, and innovation. Interdisciplinary teams tackle critical challenges in areas such as advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity, materials science, and grid resilience. Tech Park houses a variety of research centers, including the National Institute for Undersea Vehicle Technology (NIUVT), fellow IoEE unit Eversource Energy Center (EEC), Connecticut Center for Applied Separations Technology (CCAST), and many more.

Engineering for Human Rights Initiative (ENG-HR)

The Engineering for Human Rights Initiative (ENG-HR) is a joint venture between the College of Engineering and the Gladstein Family Human Rights Institute. ENG-HR works to address the human rights implications behind significant challenges in engineering and technology. The program's research areas span water and food security, product design and supply chain management, community planning and resilience, engineering education, substances and process sustainability, and cybersecurity. ENG-HR engages more than 60 faculty affiliates across multiple UConn departments.
