Mya Bynoe is a junior from East Hartford, Connecticut pursuing a dual degree in Honors Business Management and an individualized major in Business Law & Sustainable Innovation. In the School of Business, Mya is a fellow of multiple student managed investment funds, including Hillside Ventures where she was in the sustainability vertical, and the Opportunity Fund Project, where she was on the infrastructure and industrials sector.

In her free time, Mya has volunteered in her hometown at a no-kill cat shelter and community fund to aid in local grant giving, as well as abroad in both Puerto Rico with UConn’s Alternative Break Program (2025) and in Peru on the CAPs Study Abroad Summer Program (2025). Previously, Mya was an Outreach Intern for the Office of Sustainability (2024-2025). Now, as a Sustainability Intern, Mya hopes to bridge her knowledge of business with her passion for sustainability to make meaningful change at UConn and beyond for a cleaner, sustainable future for all.
