Morgan is a senior from Rehoboth, Massachusetts pursuing an undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering. She is specifically interested in discovering new sustainable designs for water, soil, and air systems to keep our environment as safe and clean as possible. This past summer, she worked as a Utilities and Environmental Engineering Intern at a food company where she gained experience in wastewater and stormwater treatment, process safety management, refrigeration, and industrial sustainability. She also has past experience in consulting and environmental health and safety. Morgan is also involved in multiple clubs and organizations on UConn’s campus. She is the President of EcoHusky, Co-Founder and Secretary of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists (AAEES), and is an active member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and HuskyTHON.

Morgan was a Sustainability Outreach Intern during her sophomore year, where she hosted multiple cleanups and sustainable events through her residential hall, while also participating in the Office of Sustainability events such as the Don’t Mess with Manfield Cleanups, Earth Day Spring Fling, and Give and Go. She is so excited to be back at the office as a Sustainability Intern and can’t wait to continue working on sustainability initiatives. As a Sustainability Intern last year, she participated in sustainability data reporting, event planning, outreach, and research. Outside of the office and classroom, she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family. After graduation, Morgan hopes to find a job in the environmental engineering field and possibly continue on to higher education.
