Lian is a sophomore at the University of Connecticut pursuing a major in Marketing and a minor in Software Design. She is currently working towards a concentration in Digital Marketing & Analytics. She is very excited to be a Thrift Den intern and is equally excited about contributing to the UCONN community and their sustainability mission. She initially joined the Thrift Den mission because she is passionate about fashion and environmental sustainability and loves second-hand shopping. She believes that self-expression is very important and should be accessible to everyone and wants to reduce fashion waste to help protect the Earth.

Within the Thrift Den, Lian primarily works with the Marketing team to focus on social media to figure out new strategies and create new ways to interact with customers in a fun and innovative way.

Outside of the Thrift Den, Lian is involved in the Business Connections Learning Community as a DEIJ Co-chair, HerCampus member, Beekeeping Club member, and English tutor. She hopes to continue to help others in any way that she can!
