Emma is studying Political Science and Environmental Studies.  Some of her interests include studying the way people’s political opinions surrounding environmental issues are shaped and how to educate others about climate topics.

Outside of class, she works as an intern for the Natural Resources Conservation Academy, mentoring students doing digital environmental storytelling projects.  She is also a part of the Outing Club at UConn and loves skiing, camping, and hiking.  In the remainder of her time at UConn, she hopes to get opportunities to do environmental political research and continue to get involved in the UConn community.  In the future, Emma hopes to have a career involving education and outreach.
