Claire Lawrence

Claire Lawrence is a graduate student pursuing her Master’s in Public Policy at the UConn School of Public Policy in Hartford, CT. She graduated with her B.A. In Applied Data Analysis with a concentration in Public Management and Policy.
Beyond the OS, as a student, Claire was the CLAS representative for the UConn Sustainability Policy, Energy, and Environment Advisory Committee (SPEEAC). She helped organize events for Fossil Fuel Free UConn and researched the impacts of clean energy with the UConn Energy and Elections Lab. Additionally, she attended the Second Nature Higher Education Climate Leadership Summit, the Local Conference of Youth USA, and the Conference of the Parties as a UConn@COP30 fellow.
As an undergraduate intern at the OS, Claire focused on data collection and analysis for AASHE Stars, UI GreenMetric, and more. She will continue sustainability data reporting as a Graduate Assistant, working to make the system more efficient and modern.
In the future, she hopes to pursue a career that combines her skills in data analytics with her passion for sustainability through public policy.
