Caroline Keary is from New Fairfield, CT. As of COP30, she is a master’s student in the Social Responsibility and Impact in Business program. Her undergraduate degree is in Environmental Studies and Human Rights. She is passionate about bettering business for the people and the planet. Specifically, better the working conditions and wages of lower tier supply chain workers. She is very passionate about building better relationships with suppliers to help them achieve human rights and environmental goals. Caroline currently works at the Office of Sustainability as the Zero Waste Coordinator. In her role she manages the Thrift Den, which is a free on campus thrift store that she helped found the year prior. She also works on food waste projects, and with the University’s waste partners. In her senior year she worked on a research project and interned for Macy’s non-retail procurement team to ensure that in every area of the business has human rights due diligence.
