Asad Syed

Sustainability Outreach Intern, CT Hall

Asad is a sophomore from Fairfield, CT majoring in Biological Sciences on the pre-medical track. In high school, Asad served as president of the Eco Club and helped establish a student-run composting program there. Likewise, he also founded a youth advocacy organization, Sustainable Fairfield Students, where he worked to promote various environmental initiatives in his town. Asad is excited to be working with The Office of Sustainability here on campus as a Sustainability Outreach Intern for Connecticut Hall and hopes to help reduce our campus’s carbon footprint. When not in classes or working, you can find Asad watching soccer (specifically Arsenal), at the movies, playing pickleball with friends or walking around campus.
