Alexandra (Allie) Calabro is a graduate student pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a graduate intern with the Office of Sustainability. From Fall 2022 to Spring 2026, she worked as a Sustainability Intern with the OS.

Allie believes in the clean and sustainable future of energy for our planet and is studying mechanical engineering to equip herself with the skills and knowledge required to further clean energy and green hydrogen research and technologies. Her role at the Office of Sustainability will help her learn how to impact society’s behaviors to make space for the clean energy technology of the future; she hopes to make positive change in the way we as individuals view the idea of sustainability and show people that no change is too small – we all have a role to play in saving our home.
