Soma Azeem is a Mechanical Engineering student at UConn who applies engineering principles to real-world sustainability challenges. As an intern at the Office of Sustainability, Soma uses technical analysis and practical design to promote sustainable campus practices. Soma’s engineering work at UConn includes researching clean-tech energy solutions in electrocatalysis at the PRIME Lab, as well as studying plane normalization for the university’s Formula SAE team.
