Kelechi Uzobuife
Sustainability Outreach Intern, Northwest
Office of Sustainability, Northwest
Kelechi Uzobuife is a freshman from Fishkill, New York majoring in Physiology and Neurobiology on the Pre-Med track. In her free time, she likes attending sports events, playing volleyball with her friends, listening to music, and watching late 90s, early 2000s TV shows. She is passionate about environmental stability, justice, activism, and sustainability on all accords. In summer 2026, Kelechi will be traveling to Peru with VAW Global Health Alliances to provide communities with better access to medical treatment, medication, and health education, further certifying her passion for medicine and her goal of attending medical school. She hopes to one day work in the medical field and volunteer in community health outreach programming, especially in other countries, allowing her to travel while pursuing her future job goals. Kelechi is so excited to connect with other students and encourage environmental sustainability as an SOI this year!
