Maya Bullied is a junior from Pomfret, Connecticut, pursuing a dual degree in English and Music. She is a Caxide Scholar and spent the summer completing her research by writing a musical to be performed in the Fall of 2025. She is an active member of the Voice and Opera department and the National Association for Teachers of Singing. She has completed two study abroad experiences in France and Italy as she pursues her passion for travel and enriching cultural experiences. She is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta and the University of Connecticut Honors Program. In her free time, Maya enjoys reading, sketching, writing music, and watching superhero movies. This is her first year as a Sustainability Outreach intern for Alumni, where she is excited to work to make UCONN a greener place by engaging with her community and focusing on creative ways to forge a sustainable future for our campus.
