Judith Otunnu is a junior from Marlton, New Jersey, majoring in Environmental Studies with a minor in Spanish. She is passionate about many aspects of the environment, particularly sustainability and urban climate resilience and planning. This is her second year as a Sustainability Outreach Intern for South Campus residence halls, and she greatly enjoys the opportunity to collaborate with fellow students to host events focused on sustainability education on campus.
Outside of her work with the Office of Sustainability, Judith serves on the E-Boards of EcoHusky, Ecoposium, and the UConn Lions Club, where she helps lead initiatives that connect students with environmental and service-based opportunities. She is also a member of Phi Sigma Pi – Beta Pi chapter, a National Honor Fraternity, as well as Honors Across State Borders, where she shares her passion for giving back with like-minded individuals.
In her spare time, Judith loves baking, reading, listening to music, and enjoying sunny days outdoors. She is excited to continue in her role this year and looks forward to participating in meaningful initiatives that promote a more sustainable UConn
