Blake Rankin

Sustainability Outreach Intern, Werth

Office of Sustainability

Blake is a freshman from Prospect, CT, majoring in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, with a minor in Wildlife Conservation. She is extremely passionate about sustainability and conservation, hoping to one day become a wildlife biologist and conservationist. Blake is interested in research concerning anthropogenic biodiversity loss and the impact of climate change on different ecosystems. In her free time, Blake loves to read, spend time with loved ones, and go on side quests (whether that be to the library or somewhere new and exciting.) At UConn, she is excited to participate in clubs such as Beekeeping Club, Astronomy Association, and EcoHusky. As a Sustainability Outreach Intern, Blake is excited to share her passion for environmental stewardship and continue advocating for a cleaner and greener future.
