Anna is a junior from Ridgefield, CT majoring in Environmental Science. This summer, Anna spent time working at The Hickories organic farm in Ridgefield where she learned about sustainable agriculture practices. She is passionate about getting people access to real, nutritious food and reducing food waste. Through her internship with The Office of Sustainability, she will contribute her knowledge of food systems to encourage residents to be conscious of where their food comes from and where it goes. In the future, she hopes to continue to explore the intersections between economics, agriculture, and culture. When not in classes, Anna can be found at sports games, fitness classes at The Student Recreation Center, or anywhere she can listen to music. She will take any opportunity to visit a new country or try new foods. Anna is super excited to join The Office of Sustainability this year as a Sustainability Outreach Intern to create a welcoming and sustainable campus.
