Lisel Nee graduated from UConn in 2026 with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering. She is passionate about sustainability, climate resilience, and innovative waste management solutions. Outside of academics, she loves staying active. She played on UConn’s women’s club rugby team, enjoys running, and spends a lot of time outdoors.

Lisel worked as an engineering intern in the stormwater department at HNTB, where she gained hands-on experience in environmental engineering and water management. She is always seeking opportunities to learn, explore, and make a positive impact through her work.
