Landscape Construction

Use effective site construction techniques and materials to minimize water pollution

Landscape construction should consider three key points:

Design - Site design should be functional for its intended use, with an eye towards minimizing maintenance needs. Understand the basic site layout.

Drainage - Slow down the movement of water across your property by using a mix of swales, rain gardens and rain barrels.

Hardscapes - Use hardscape materials that minimize the loss of water from the site by maximizing infiltration into the ground.
